With the closure of the youth drop-in centre more than 12 months ago the City of Rockingham identified a need for a centre that provides a number of services for the youth within the City of Rockingham. The City, young people, and their families see a real need for dedicated quality spaces for the youth to recreate and access services in a safe, comfortable inviting spaces for both active and passive activities that accommodate multiple activities with a sense of being non-exclusive and open to all. SITE has recently completed a $2.1M refurbishment of Hale School’s Administration building with Hoskins Contracting completing the construction over 2 Separable Portions. The project sought to strengthen visitor access and connection to the school and the culturally significant Memorial Hall by relocating and creating a new reception in the main foyer whilst undertaking a major refurbishment of the existing interior design, more in keeping with Hale’s prestige and identity.
