SITE’s Project Architect Naomi McCabe attended the official opening of the Cockburn Wetlands Precinct. We are excited to share photos of the opening. The redevelopment includes facilities for WA Wildlife (formally Native Arc), Wetlands Education Centre, new Nursery, new scouts shed for the Bibra Lake Scout Group, extensive landscaping, and Wetlands.

Beechboro Community Hub’s success at the Parks & Leisure Association Awards WA
We are pleased to share that our major Refurbishment to the Swan Active Beechboro (formerly Altone Place Leisure Centre) won Community Facility of the Year at the Parks and Leisure Association 2021 – WA Awards. Handover of a major renewal project in Fremantle
SITE are excited to be handing over a major renewal of a vacant 2 storey commercial building in Fremantle to new education tenants. 6 transparent, flexible learning areas open up the ground plane to the landscape and are connected by a central, light-filled incidental learning space linking the entrances, north to south. The upper floor has been transformed into a year group common area which overlooks the campus to the north and the Fremantle port beyond. Forward works nearing completion at Lakeland Secondary High School
We are excited that forward works are nearing completion to make way for a renewed Sport, Drama, and Music precinct for Lakeland Secondary High School. SITE has spread the budget and scope further to include enhancements to the existing buildings and external areas far beyond the original brief.
Rockingham Youth Centre Reaches PC
The Rockingham Youth Centre has been handed over to the City of Rockingham this week following the major refurbishment and Fitout of an existing 2 story commercial building into a dedicated multi-functional facility for young people aged 12-24. Working closely with the City of Rockingham and members of the Rockingham Youth Reference Group the previously dark and un-inspiring building has been transformed into a vibrant, welcoming, and flexible space that will be a new base for the City’s youth services and youth development staff from which they can provide a variety of education and support services to the community.
