Dalwallinu Recreation Centre Redevelopment is an extension and renovation of the existing centre. Dalwallinu is located within the golden outback of regional Western Australia and attracts local and international visitors during the wildflower season. The Shire conducted a workshop with the recreation centre user groups and commercial operators of the gym and fitness classes. The report identified much needed architectural and functional upgrades were required to meet community expectations including a new multi-purpose function hall for formal events. Ellenbrook Youth Centre Feasibility Study & Concept Design
SITE was recently commissioned by the City of Swan to undertake a feasibility study, stakeholder engagement and development of a detailed concept design for a Youth Centre for one of WA’s fasted growing communities Ellenbrook. SITE Director Paul Edwards, element Director Cath Blake-Powell and Community & Stakeholder Engagement Consultant Liz Pope facilitated a series of workshops with the City, key Youth and Community Stakeholders in developing a functional brief and vision for the project. Grandis Park Sports Pavilion Official Opening
Grandis Park Sports Pavilion in Banksia Grove was officially opened along with the adjacent Banksia Grove Skate Park by City of Wanneroo Mayor Tracey Roberts JP and Counsellors on Saturday 27th of October 2018. Grandis Park Sports Pavilion includes much-needed change rooms, function hall, kiosk, kitchen, storage, first aid room, and universal access toilet. Project Update: AH Bracks Library Refurbishment
AH Bracks Library reopened in September 2018 after a 6-month refurbishment period. Designed by SITE for the City of Melville the library includes new children’s space, public artworks, exhibition spaces, breakout spaces, reading spaces, meeting rooms and library services.
Outback Spirit, The Ningaloo Centre – Indesign Magazine
The Ningaloo Centre designed by SITE for the Shire of Exmouth features in the latest edition of Indesign Magazine 2018. The $34M Centre includes world class facilities such as a Visitors Centre, Community Centre, Library, Gallery, Exhibition Spaces, Central TAFE training facilities, Marine Laboratories, Research Centre, Aquarium and Specialist Plant facilitates. These spaces are designed to be independent and connects the locals and tourists to the Town of Exmouth and its surrounding ‘Reef‘ (Ningaloo reef) to ‘Range‘ (Cape range) experience.
