Official Opening of Hale Junior School
SITE Directors Stephen Hart, Paul Edwards, and Senior Interior Architect Naomi McCabe attended the Official Hale Junior School Opening on Friday the 2nd November 2018. The opening knowledged the school’s history with 1961 School Caption Warren Lilleyman handing Education Minister Sue Ellery the original scissors used to cut the ribbon at the school opening in 1961 in Wembley Downs. SITE Architecture Studio worked with Hale School to develop solutions that would support the implementation of the pedagogy of ‘Prepare, Teach and Connect’ for the new Junior School Buildings. Hale School shines at Master Builders awards
Congratulations to the Cassari Group for the team’s award-winning building work on the Hale School’s Brine House extension. As the architects responsible for completing the project, SITE relished the opportunity to work alongside such a diligent and dedicated team. Cassari Group won awards for both the Best Refurbishment or Renovation and the Best Education Building under $1, 500, 000 at the recent Western Australia Master Builders-Bankwest Excellence in Construction awards.

Project Update: Fremantle College
Fremantle College is a $34m State Government high school project to accommodate the amalgamation of Hamilton SHS with South Fremantle SHS on the existing South Fremantle school site in Beaconsfield. The project included the construction of a significant new building addressing a large grassed promenade at the existing school entry which accommodates a new Performing Arts and Science Centre, 16 General Learning Classrooms and Student Services. Additionally, a major refurbishment of the 50 year old SFSHS buildings was completed to contemporise the existing teaching and learning environments.
