Project Update

Project Update: Dalwallinu Recreation Centre

Construction is progressing at the Dalwallinu Recreation Centre Refurbishment and Extension. We would like to share some images from Project Architect’s Christian Wetjen’s latest visit to Dalwallinu and builder Devlyn Construction.

216 Stirling Highway Commerical Refurbishment

SITE recently completed a commercial refurbishment at 216 Stirling Highway in Claremont. The project involved a complete refurbishment of the external facade, entry screen, forecourt landscaping, and interiors.The Project included New facade canopy/timber screen Refurbished foyer New end of trip facilities Bathrooms SITE is excited to share some photographs of the project taken by Kilmore Fixing who removed and replaced the existing cladding. Kilmore Fixing was also assisted by 0D3 Engineering who detailed, fabricated and installed the steel canopy structure and the Perma Timber composite batterns. Project Update: Ballajura Place and Library under construction

The diggers are on site for the construction of the New Ballajura Place office extension and refurbishment of the existing Ballajura Library. The brief is similar to the Altone Place Office and Beechboro Community Hub. SITE worked with the City and key stakeholders from Place, Community services, Library, and Leisure personnel. The open plan environments were designed with workstations being grouped into the different service areas to enable team working, with the layout of the groups positioned with circulation and storage between to create a sense of separation between each of the services while still maintaining the open office feel. Project update: Fremantle College Refurbishment works completed

The additional Fremantle College Refurbishment works have now reached practical completion. Following the successful completion of the new school by JCY Architects and Urban Designers – Architects Micheal Tyler-Hare and Will Thomson were engaged through SITE to design and document additional refurbishment works to the existing Sports Hall, changeroom amenities and new offices for English staff.  Within a limited budget, SITE was able to breathe life into old crumbling rooms (in some cases 50+ years old). Official opening of Beechboro Community Hub Redevelopment

Altone Place Office, Beechboro Community Hub, and Cafe had its Offical opening on Friday 25th of January 2019. SITE’s design team worked in consultation with the City and key stakeholders, including Place and Community/Youth Services, Library and Leisure personnel (Swan Active) to create a design solution that provides a suitable and flexible office space to meet the functional needs of staff, with a simple and modern design solution to allow the amalgamation of the different divisions into a collaborative workspace. Leda ESC Administration building reaches practical completion

Leda Education Support Centre’s (ESC) new Administration Building has reached practical completion. The Support Centre was sharing facilities with Leda Primary School. As there was no standard brief for Support Centre Administration building SITE worked with the Department of Education, the School, and BMW to design a flexible and functional workspace for the support staff.
