We are pleased to share the completion of the Design Development phase of a Multipurpose Auditorium for Perth Modern School. The auditorium is designed as a contemporary multipurpose 700 seat auditorium, catering for music, drama, dance, assembly, lecture and exam functions. Despite tight spatial constraints of the site, it has been carefully designed to accommodate the 700 seats without compromising visual sightlines to the stage or acoustic performance. Project Update: Eaton Community College New Science Building
We are pleased to announce that the Eaton Community College New Science Building has recently been awarded to BGC Construction and some holes are gonna get done dug any day now!! This exciting project will provide the College with 4 dedicated science labs, and 2 flexible lab spaces catering for Science-based Engineering and STEAM, with both digital design and workshop maker spaces. Most excitingly, we have managed to shed stormwater straight from our sculpted roof into landscaped wetland drainage swales below (no gutters!!) which will create outdoor bio-diversity labs for the students to get dirty in. Wungong Town Community Centre and Library Feasibility Study
Element (formerly TPG + Place Match) in partnership with SITE Architecture Studio was engaged by the City of Armadale to provide consultancy services for the feasibility study for a new Library and Community Centre within the Wungong Town Centre. The City identified that the current Armadale Library will outgrow its capacity to deliver community and library services within the existing catchment. Without the additional Library services, the Armadale Library’s catchment population would be exceeded by 2026. The City also recognised that the forecast of Wungong Town population growth warranted a prevision of Library and Community services within the area. SITE…
Project Update: Southern Steel Stage 3
Construction has commenced at Southern Steel Warehouse Extension Stage 3 works located in Landcrop’s Industrial Estate in Hope Valley, North of Rockingham. SITE was previously engaged for Stage 1 & 2 in 2011 for the design of new headquarters in Hope Valley. SITE began with interrogating the basic functional requirements for steel manufacturing workflows and combined the integration of an administration/office. The building responds to the corner site through a cut corner in the 12-meter high shed clad with coloured panels.
