SITE’s Success at the Learning Environments WA Chapter Awards for Hale Junior School

We are excited to announce that Hale Junior School Redevelopment won Category 2: New Construction / New Individual Facility over $8m. The Jury commented that:  “SITE Architecture Studio completed a thorough planning process for the Hale Junior School project. Design Adaption to meet Industry trends and Accessibility standards

Ellenbrook Youth Centre Feasibility Study & Concept Design

SITE was recently commissioned by the City of Swan to undertake a feasibility study, stakeholder engagement and development of a detailed concept design for a Youth Centre for one of WA’s fasted growing communities Ellenbrook. SITE Director Paul Edwards, element Director Cath Blake-Powell and Community & Stakeholder Engagement Consultant Liz Pope facilitated a series of workshops with the City, key Youth and Community Stakeholders in developing a functional brief and vision for the project. Through a rigorous site, planning, and brief interrogation process, a Concept Design was developed by SITE that proposes a communal hub directly linking adjoining sports and recreation, civic and public transportation nodes…

Grandis Park Sports Pavilion Official Opening

Grandis Park Sports Pavilion in Banksia Grove was officially opened along with the adjacent Banksia Grove Skate Park by City of Wanneroo Mayor Tracey Roberts JP and Counsellors on Saturday 27th of October 2018. Grandis Park Sports Pavilion includes much-needed change rooms, function hall, kiosk, kitchen, storage, first aid room, and universal access toilet. SITE was engaged for phase one the project to present a concept design and development plan to the City of Wanneroo. Official Opening of Hale Junior School

SITE Directors Stephen Hart, Paul Edwards, and Senior Interior Architect Naomi McCabe attended the Official Hale Junior School Opening on Friday the 2nd November 2018. The opening knowledged the school’s history with 1961 School Caption Warren Lilleyman handing Education Minister Sue Ellery the original scissors used to cut the ribbon at the school opening in 1961 in Wembley Downs.  SITE Architecture Studio worked with Hale School to develop solutions that would support the implementation of the pedagogy of ‘Prepare, Teach and Connect’ for the new Junior School Buildings. The project consists of 5 buildings and landscaped spaces. Project Update: AH Bracks Library Refurbishment

AH Bracks Library reopened in September 2018 after a 6-month refurbishment period. Designed by SITE for the City of Melville the library includes new children’s space, public artworks, exhibition spaces, breakout spaces, reading spaces, meeting rooms and library services.
