The proposed Rowing Centre is a part of the enhancement of the Swan River frontage to Belmont Park as part of the significant redevelopment by the Golden Group and developed in partnership with Rowing WA.
There are proposed rowing boat stores for two clubs with private changeroom, toilet and shower facilities, gym and AV review. The centre will also provide public amenity, including public boat storage for the use of local residents, a river walk deck that will link a new Public Open Space and beach to the Belmont Park development, and a waterfront café and function centre.
The site is located at the Southern edge of the proposed Belmont Park development and is within walking distance of the new Perth Stadium and associated train station.
