Christian is an Associate within the SITE team, bringing over twenty years of experience in all phases of project management. He has successfully led a diverse range of projects in terms of types and scales. Christian’s role within the team focuses on technology integration and systems, ensuring that projects achieve comprehensive and effective outcomes. He has a particular interest in incorporating technology into architectural design and construction processes.
Christian’s passion for technology extends to his dedication to Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD). His commitment to sustainable practices is evident in his work, particularly in two of his Community Library buildings, which have received high recognition for their innovative use of ESD initiatives within Western Australia. These projects showcase Christian’s ability to integrate sustainable design principles seamlessly into architectural solutions, resulting in environmentally conscious and efficient buildings.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Christian has designed and constructed his own sustainable home in Doubleview. Notably, his house was the first straw-bale home approved and built within the City of Stirling, and it was also the first of its kind in metropolitan Perth. Christian’s home embodies the principles of passive solar design and incorporates numerous sustainable initiatives. As a result, the house is incredibly efficient, leading to minimal utility bills. This personal project showcases Christian’s commitment to practicing what he preaches and serves as a testament to his expertise in sustainable design and construction practices.
